Every AE Outdoor Living project is backed by a written warranty provided at contract signing. The summary below describes our standard coverage. Your final, signed warranty controls in the event of any conflict. AE Outdoor Living is an Arizona-licensed contractor: ROC 340966 / 341002 / 347738 / 211530.
Workmanship
- Pool shell & structure: 5-year structural workmanship warranty.
- Hardscape (pavers, travertine, flagstone): 2-year installation warranty.
- Pergolas, ramadas & shade structures: 2-year build warranty.
- Outdoor kitchens: 1-year installation warranty.
- Artificial turf: 1-year installation warranty.
- Landscape lighting: 1-year installation, plus pass-through of manufacturer fixture warranty.
- Live plant material: 90-day replacement on AE-installed plants that fail when watered per the schedule we provide.
Manufacturer & material warranties
Equipment and finish warranties (pool pumps, heaters, filters, automation, salt cells, Pebble Tec® / plaster, turf fiber, paver color, glass fence panels, LED fixtures, etc.) are passed through from the manufacturer at full term. AE assists with all warranty claims for the first year at no charge.
What is covered
- Defects in materials supplied by AE.
- Defects in AE's installation workmanship.
- Structural failure of pool shell from defective build.
- Settlement or movement of hardscape caused by improper base preparation.
What is not covered
- Damage from misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care guidelines.
- Damage from acts of nature (flooding, monsoon, hail, freeze, fire, earthquake).
- Color variation in natural stone, plaster, Pebble Tec®, pavers, or wood — all are natural products and will vary.
- Normal wear, fading from UV exposure, mineral staining, or efflorescence on masonry.
- Work performed by other contractors after AE leaves the site.
- Damage caused by adjacent landscaping, irrigation leaks, or root intrusion not installed by AE.
- Water chemistry imbalance, pool chemicals, or maintenance not performed under an AE service plan.
How to file a claim
- Email support@aeoutdoorliving.com with a photo and description of the issue.
- An AE service coordinator schedules an on-site assessment within 5–10 business days.
- If covered, repair is performed at no cost. If outside coverage, you receive a written estimate before any work begins.
Transferability
Warranty coverage stays with the original homeowner. Limited transfer to a new homeowner may be available within the first 12 months — contact us for details.
Arizona Registrar of Contractors
If a warranty matter cannot be resolved directly, Arizona homeowners may also contact the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for assistance regarding any of AE's licenses (ROC 340966 / 341002 / 347738 / 211530).
